Like many homes of the mid 1900's in the suburbs of Washington DC, this home suffered the typical problem- a great neighborhood but a home lacking the contemporary needs of most families. An addition was constructed on the rear of the home to provide a large kitchen and spacious open plan living areas on the first floor and a generous owner's suite on the second. The finished home affords the owners contemporary conveniences within a traditional home in a neighborhood they love- with room for the family to grow.
