Just 90 minutes to downtown Washington DC, this new house afforded the clients and their family an easy escape for weekends and holidays. The house sits on the water and is surrounded by farmland. The majority of the rooms face the water. The new home, pool, garage, and guest house were designed to facilitate the active family and their lifestyle. Given the harsh conditions facing the home on the water, cementitious and PVC materials are employed on the exterior for both their durability and low maintenance.
